With such a honor, PSG has stepped into the new season. Nike cooperated with Paris Saint-Germain have revealed new 2018-19 kit as new season beginning. The fresh design on the new kit is meaningful.
As the primary color of the away kit, light stone color represents the famous historical sites distributed among the French capital, especially the world-famous triumphal arch. The golden club crest is embroidered on this historical color, indicating that the team is at a booming stage with glory honors.

In order to show the admiration to the the city of fashion, a short buttoned line is decorated at the collar of new jersey. This slight decoration add a modern fashion to the historical background. Inside the collar embroider a circular shield with flower pattern, “Paris” is carved on the shield. This figure derives from the 30 shields sculptured on the roof of the triumph arch and each shield represent a famous victory from Napoleon.
At the back of the shirt, a short vertical black strip can be found embedding in the collar. As the same one on the home shirts, a golden fleur de lys appears. The fleur-de-lys is a stylized lily that is used as a decorative design or motif, and many of the Catholic saints of France, particularly St. Joseph, are depicted with a lily. Since France is a historically Catholic nation, the fleur-de-lis became “at one and the same time, religious, political, dynastic, artistic, emblematic, and symbolic”, especially in French heraldry. For the past years, the fleur de lys appears on the pitch and now is famous as the symbol of the PSG.
